Blake Jenkins is an Australian artist with a diverse career spanning music, theatre, film, and directing. He is known for his innovative approach to storytelling across multiple mediums.

Most recently recognised for directing several award-winning Perth productions with Bel Canto Performing Arts, credits include Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr. (2021), Singin' In The Rain Jr. (2022), Anything Goes: Youth Edition (2023), and Mary Poppins Jr. (2024). Blake will direct Chicago: Teen Edition at the Old Mill Theatre, South Perth, in July 2025.

Blake's professional career began at the age of 11 when he made his debut in the Perth season of the Australian touring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. He continued to build his resume, performing in local productions like Grease (2016), Bring It On: The Musical (2018), and Band Geeks (2019).

In 2020, Blake completed his Diploma of Musical Theatre at WAAPA, balancing both in-person and online learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While refining his skills in acting, singing, and dance through on-campus training, he also embraced new digital tools during the online portion, exploring virtual creativity and collaboration in the performing arts.

In 2022, Blake performed the role of John Darling in Zealous Productions’ Peter Pan Pantomime at the Regal Theatre, Perth. In 2023, he made his full-length musical directorial debut with Peter Pan: Broadway's Timeless Musical at Koorliny Arts Centre.

2025 sees Blake’s return to the stage as Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors for Drew Anthony Creative, marking his first live performance in 3 years. Additionally, he is focusing on his music, preparing to release new tracks and continue growing as an artist. With years of experience both onstage and behind the scenes, he’s excited to share his evolving sound and connect with audiences on a deeper level.
